Deaf vs Blind

Read once being blind separates you from things. Deaf separates you from people. Even after pondering that I could not choose blind. Ladies. Sunrises. Color. Hard to imagine losing that.

Being blind is much worse.

being blind as already stated would be so much more of a difficult life.

As the OP asks, which do I think is worse? Sit me in front of some great music, and I'll wish I never go deaf. Sit me in front of a great scene, and I'd wish I never went blind.

This thread brought to you by 50 minutes last night where I woke up, couldn't fall back to sleep, and started thinking about that commercial for that drug they are selling for blind people with a circadian rhythm problem.

Though I was thinking in terms of modern America.

I feel like technology is so out of reach for the blind.... as most people have said, being functional as a deaf person is much easier than as a blind person.
