He's not a FA, so Chicago would have to work a trade but what about DeMar Derozan as a SG? A lot has been made of not having someone who can create his shot, DeRozan can do that. Im not sure he's the best defender but in Thibs system, you dont really need to be a lockdown individual defender.

If there's no better options via trade or FA, trade 1st's then. The draft class is really weak and the the picks are late.

We are in the Eastern Conference Finals, I don't think we need to make a major changes, KEEP ALL OUR DEPTH and maybe try to find a STEAL at SG (Marshon Brooks! from Providence) with one of those 1st Round Picks or we could just work Rasual Butler into the Rotation next season

I WOULDN'T give up Asik or Gibson now though! We probably would have lost to Atlanta if we didn't have Gibson

The Bulls definitely have to upgrade at that position...a steal in the draft won't work. The draft is weak as water anyway. The Bulls have to hope to land a playmaker. That is what I am hoping for

This guy is so overrated, it's not even funny. The guy is a decent scorer at best with out of this world athleticism. I say we take another shot at Mayo or see about Alfafa in Den

That's just my opinion though. I think we can do better.

I still say David Lighty in the draft is our SG of the immediate future. Dude shot 43% from 3 at OSU this last season, and is long enough (6'5-6'6) to guard a defender. Also comes from a proven program as a 4 yr. starter. He's not the absolute best option, but is the type of player I think the Bulls can obtain w/out a big trade that will fill in well for Bogans as a starter.

All that being said, if Bogans plays next season like he has in the post-season thus far, I want him...and I cannot believe I'm saying that.

This made me laugh out loud. And I agree with you!

I have been more critical of his play during the reg season than most...but his defense has been ridic this post-season, and his timely shooting spreads the floor out like mad. He'll draw Wade in the next series...we'll see his total worth/value then.

I think it was on a Friedell chat or maybe a Sam Smith article I read that we actually contacted Toronto about him around the trade deadline and they totally blew us off, they are planning on building the franchise around him!

If you follow the NBA you can tell by just watching how they play that is what they are doing.

Toronto will be a very unsuccessful team if that's the guy they build around. And he's not their best player. Bargnani is, by far.

What about just singing Shannon Brown, he plays tough defense and his 3 point shot has improved A LOT

would be a better fit and more affordable then Jamal Crawford or Jason Richardson IMO

I wouldnt mind Shannon Brown at all he is a much better defender that Crawford.

I think its all up to him, I know he was planning on re-signing with LA but I'm sure we would be able to offer him more $$ and that was before the collapse of LA so we will see

It seems everyone else is worried about 3pt shooting....that is not what the Bulls need right now. They need someone who can get a shot off. Crawford can do that, but he takes bad shots often and he hits a few. But being able to create off the dribble is the most important quality needed in a wing player...Shannon Brown helps in 3pt shooting and on the break, but not as much in creating his own shot.
