Well it couldn't hurt...we'd have team options on him if he was really THAT bad, but he's on his rookie deal so he's not even that expensive. If we get a first rounder, it's a no brainer, but even a second rounder could be good enough. I'm not sure of Cleveland's salary situation if they'd be able to absorb Deng's contract, but if they can, Deng for Waiters plus a pick is pretty good return.

Not sure if this is possible, but can we take on injured players? We could take Bynum off their hands, and give them Noah and make sure to get their 1st rounder.
If that's not possible then we just trade Deng for waiter and an expired contract. We don't really need a pick, the trade alone would make us worse and our pick better.

You guy's are getting confused. The Cavs would have to throw in Bynum just to make the Deng/Waiters deal work salary wise. You can bet the Cavs are not gonna pony up a pick as well, imo. However, I've heard rumors that the Bulls could then release Bynum and clear up some cap space. I think that would make it interesting coming into next FA season.
