Oh & don't be surprised to see Deng suit up for the Heat. He's been telling teammates he's going to try to give it a go.

Hopefully he can rest it and play at a high level the rest of the year. Have the surgery in the off-season and be ready for next year full strength.

I know we have a lot of depth and have handled injurys well.
BUT, we havnt lost our most versatile and best defender......Against good teams, we will probably struggle, at least alittle....missing Deng will prove to be no joking manner.....
I don't think he will suit up for the heat...All we need is to him to injur himself further....
I think he should take his time and heal properly , because come playoff time, we will not be able to afford for him to be sitting out.

Jimmy Butler, Ronnie Brewer and Korver will have to continue stepping up...

The good news is, At leadt we still have Scalabrini, so we will be fine :troll:

Losing Deng is big no doubt, but I think Butler may open some eyes with his play soon. Thibs has no choice but to play him now. I expect a repeat of what happened with Asik last year. He barely played until Noah went down. And he took the opportunity & flourished. I'm looking for similar results.

And while Deng is our most versatile defender, we still have our best perimeter defender in Brewer, fully healthy & playing great. Add on top of that, Rip playing his best ball in years, we should be able to weather this storm for a little bit.

well he didn't get any minutes last game. Brewer and Korver are going to get most of the minutes at SF.. so even if Butler does get minutes, it won't be many and might only be when Brewers in foul trouble.

it's a quiet revolution. No one said anything about it. It's just happening... and I don't mind it. :smoke:

I agree that he plays him too much but this injury has nothing to do with minutes. Freak accident. It really sucks too because IMO the Bulls at full strength had a legit shot to win it all. Hamilton is settling in, the bigs are improving and so has Ronnies shooting. Cj too.

No I agree with you. It was a freak accident, I was saying that sooner or later though, Something was bound to happen to him with all those minutes.
