Had a broken tooth extracted and replaced with an implant today. Not near as bad as I expected. Any of you guys had this done?

Yes..wife placed a molar implant in my mouth a few years ago. So far so good. No issues at all.

3 mo and I'll be done. A big cracking sound when the tooth broke free but that's it. Don't know why people get sedated.

haha. I wish. I've always loved that Horrible Bosses scene with Jennifer Aniston in the dental chair.
But they gave you local anesthesia, right?
licensed professional who dabbles in her free time. She's an actual dentist who keeps cutting her office time. Now she works 2 days/week. She says she has better things she can do with her time but since her traveling habits aren't cheap, she has to work a couple of days a week.

Very cool.
I worked with a guy that didn't want anyone to know his wife was a dentist, because they would think he is loaded and didn't need the job. I laughed at him, my wife was working in real estate and was making 2-3X's what I was making, I was proud of her and didn't keep it a secret. When I got laid off I asked, why me, my boss said 'your wife is loaded, what do you care'. I stopped telling people about my rich wife.

I literally have no earthly idea why anyone would suggest that someone would want to collect teeth. It's like are you ******* kidding me? I mean my Mom's longtime boyfriend lost all his and my Mom threw them in the waste receptacle she didn't even think they were worth holding onto they weren't even filled with gold or even platinum so why keep those things around is beyond my comprehension
Maybe certain ccs ignoramuses would hoard them and hope tooth fairy came and feel generous but that's likely never to happen besides I work 7 jobs and don't have money to buy teeth even if I wanted to all my extra income goes to buying hideous tank tops and venison burgers from fast food restaurant establishments and no home grown in the USA venison it's imported venison which literally makes no sense since we're inundated with the white tail variety of deer in the United States of America so much so that my 1989 Yugo was involved in an automobile accident with them literally just this year it's like are you ******* kidding me I had just paid that off
