I got 2 about 6 yrs ago, the whole process took about 6 mo. Pulled the 2 teeth, let heal, drill holes in jaw bone and insert nuts, put in posts and implants. Was very easy.

A cheap fight to Mexico is more than worth it with the implant savings.
The problem with that is: Who do you trust to work on your teeth in Mexico?
I refer you back to my initial question...Border towns have dental clinics just for gringos and they are reviewed.

A dental exam, X-rays, deep cleaning, and ten cavities filled(yeah, I know, got to lay off the sweets) all for $670 dollars. In Los Angeles, this easily would've been thousands of dollars.
