Ive ordered a coke here, and they ask if a Pepsi is OK

Minges Bottling is here in Greenville and Pepsi originated here I guess. So around here it's pretty much people ask for Pepsi, and who ever is like Coke?, and then we're like nah, I'll just have sweet tea.

yup. and i am going to call that dish your gram makes "Sunday Gravy" just like I used to, only to sound more authentic to my non-italian friends, and call it sauce in front of my Italian friends that think it's pretentious. Have a nice day though!

I don't know why you latch on to Buono Beef as something I claimed was "authentic Italian," because I didn't. Most of the owner and operators are part of an Italian family though, a pretty wealthy and established old school one at that. Guido's not some guy that posts as a big dumb chicken and try to convince people he's hardcore Italian on the internet all the time...

A sauce is something that you whip up in a skillet real fast to pour over pasta..ya put some crushed tomatoes and spices in a skillet, heat it up and use it right away. Its for every day use


Gravy is something that uses 3 kinds of meat and simmers all fuckin day long..Thats why they called it Sunday Gravy, cause thats the only day they had the time to spend stirring the stuff till 2PM eating time. The term gravy came because its much thicker than a sauce because of the constant simmering


However, some say sauce for it all, and thats fine with me
