PEORIA, IL- The Peoria Chiefs and Chicago Cubs have announced that two of the pitchers acquired in the Derrek Lee trade, Robinson Lopez and Jeffrey Lorick, have officially been added to the Chiefs roster. Both players arrived in Peoria Thursday evening and will be available for Friday's 6:30 p.m. contest against the Burlington Bees. To make room on the roster, relievers Steven Grife and Daniel Keefe have been sent down to the Boise Hawks of the Northwest League.
