There was a time that the refs were calling nothing. Without the turnovers, Rose actually had a pretty good game...25, 7, 8, 6.

Rose played awful today. From the very start, he was forcing the ball inside on offense and was uncharacteristically selfish. He was not looking to get his teammates involved at all. He played terrible on defense defending the pick and roll and rotating to defend the three point line. He allowed the Knicks to dictate the pace and that is the main reason why the Bulls lost.

The refs were awful, I grant you that. But the Bulls and Rose played awful today and didn't deserve the win.

you're acting like an asshat. boozer played like the best bull on the floor, he's obviously not. Derrick rose is the best bulls player to grace a uniform since jordan put one on. But he's not immune to criticism. plus look at doug's blog, he agree's with what everyone said here. rose's offense wasn't great tonight. his defense was bad. w/o noah to cover up for rose's defeciencies, we're in trouble.

rose is going to get beat off the dribble. Boozer might be a below average help defender. both Gibson's size and injuries are going to prevent him from seeing significant minutes at the 5. Kurt thomas has the lateral quickness of a turtle. Asik fouls too much, and he's not trusted by thibs. as a consequence rose's defense is going to be an achilles heal for the bulls. If we want to win some games, rose needs to step up.

Ball handlers in the nba, especially the pg position, are going to be difficult to stay in front of. we're asking a lot of rose to step it up on the defensive end, but it's our only option. You can't ask thomas to grow youngers, we can't ask asik to quit being a rookie, and you can't ask boozer to stop being inept on the defensive end.

Hopefully you watched Lebron tonight. It was Rose's job to get others involved. Rose didn't work hard enough to get others involved in this game. His assist to turnover ratio was horrible. He forced way too much. The way he played today, he was trying to make a statement on Christmas day and he failed. It was not a good look for him.

The rest of what you said is pretty stupid, Rose is not beyond criticism, especially after that performance...

Rose's defense was no different than any other game. His offense was what killed the Bulls today. He has to be more cerebral out there. What happens when you chuck up shots and don't involve people? You go 8 minutes in the 4th quarter and you don't score at all. The Bulls should have played better and have to defend the three better. Rose should have had a different agenda coming into that game than he did...period.
