Where would you rank him?

1) Deron Williams - He is an absolute force and easily the top point guard in the league.
2) Chris Paul - Paul could have been number 1, if he didn't have the injuries.
3) Derrick Rose - He's almost there.

- Rondo doesn't have any midrange game and he plays with KG, Paul Pierce, & Ray Allen. Obviously, he's gonna get the assists. When Rose played Rondo 2 weeks ago;

- Rose had 39 points, 3 blocks, 6-8 assists
- Rondo had 4 points and 5 fouls and 11 assists(?)

- Westbrook plays with Kevin Durant and he's going to get a lot more points and assists because defenses don't focus on him as much.

Where would you rank Rose & why?

My brother and I were talking this over last night. I think Chris Paul has to stay healthy before he can be considered the best.

1. Deron Williams - He can do it all, he goes out there every game giving it his all, and gets the job done.

2. Derrick Rose - Some people will think this is too high, but if you look for what he does for the Bulls, there really isn't anyone who carries there team this much.

3. Steve Nash - Great point guard, not much to say, he's consistent and always makes the right play.

4. Chris Paul - Could be 1 or 2 if he stays healthy, but until then, he's not moving up.

5. Rajon Rondo - Great player, I love the way he plays. Always makes the right decision, and gets to the rim with ease, I love the way he cuts through the lane, it's like no one can cover him.

What do you think of the Rose and Russell Westbrook comparison? In my opinion, you see what Rose does for the Bulls and what Westbrook does for te Thunder, Rose is easily ranked higher then Westbrook.

I just don't think Westrbook ranks up with these guys yet. He does a lot for his team, but he has Kevin Durant there also, someone who is the go to guy, Westbrook has time to grow, but I don't see it yet.

this season?overall?

overall:

Paul-still the best but he has been hurt
Williams-He has added offense to his PG passing ability
Nash-36 and still going strong
Rondo-triple double machine, very young,if he could shoot he would be absolutely nasty
Rose-Expect him to be in the top 2 in a couple of more years

I don't see how Paul can possibly be better than Williams. There was the argument when Paul was healthy, but you gotta go with the present.

Williams, CP3, Nash, Rose

Rondo is no where on my list because he sucks and plays like it's streetball a lot. Once Pierce, KG, and Allen retire, he is going to exposed as a fraud

So setting up good players around you makes you a fraud?

He does what a point guard is supposed to do.

Derrick Rose is the best mid range shooting PG in the NBA.

Which is nice, because the big question mark on his game was the shooting.

Just wait till he gets that outside game down.

He's not good because he plays like it's streetball?

Where the **** did you learn the game of basketball.

Half the guys out there play like it's streetball, Rondo is a GREAT player.

1) Chris Paul
2-3) Deron Williams
2-3) Chauncey Billups (toss-up)
4) Derrick Rose
5) Tony Parker
6-9) Russell Westbrook
6-9) Rajon Rondo
6-9) Steve Nash (toss-up)
10) Jason Kidd

The Top 3 are not even arguable to me. I was debating putting Tyreke Evans on here, but he's more of a SG...

Zack, I can't even think of a better mid-range shooting PG throughout NBA history than Derrick Rose... Lol... nor a more athletic finisher around the rim at the PG position at his size.

Let me just say that I think Chauncey Billups is an extremely underrated player and PG. I believe the last time he missed a ECF/WCF series was 2002. He is still a better PG than Rose in my opinion... and I am a true Bulls' fan... With CP3 being hurt, he may have been as good or better than any other PG in the NBA in 2009-10.
