My inside sources and Uncle Pax called me....
He is going to sign Rip Hamilton....
Derrick Rose likes him...

Source: Chicago Bulls plan to pursue Rip Hamilton - ESPN Chicago

I like Rip Hamilton...he wasn't my first, second or third choice, but he sure beats Bogans and is still a capable scorer who needs a change of scenery..
LET'S WELCOME THE MAN....

Considering the no headband rule, I wonder if Pax will allow him to wear his mask???:troll:

I like Rip better than Prince....he may provide the Bulls what we are missing....and he knows how to defend.......
Better than nothing......And most importantly we keep our core intact that won over 60 games last year...Rip can't hurt, but only make us better....I like the guy...and I will support my new teammate.....
Let's put another ring on the mans finger and really free RIP!!!!!!!

My favorite teams
  1. Chicago Bulls
And Boston is going for him too. Until I know the details of his contract, I'll hold my tongue on continuing my disapproval for pursuing Rip.

The man is bought and paid for, there is no reason for us to give him more than the minimum.

He'd be my #2 choice behind J-Rich. We've been going after Rip for almost two years, hopefully we can finally land him! I'd definitely welcome him with open arms.

Rose likes anyone who can help this team and not steal his spotlight.

Good one...LoL......but then again, there are only less than a handful of players in the NBA that can take the spotlight from MVP ROSE.

I would rather have Rip than Prince as well. If we get him I am very fine with this. He brings a veteran winning mentality to the team. Plus the guy can shoot still.

I know this may sound crazy, but the way the Bulls are set up with not many reliable scoring options at the guard position, Rip should flourish here....I see him averaging 15 points or more a game....he may even have some games where he drops close to 30..

You can hit the blunt too....

Rip Hamilton probably won't need more than a 2 year contract, and with his cost we still have cap flexibility to make trades later on if needed be while other contenders will be financially tapped out for years....Purhaps Andre Igoudala

If RIP don't work out, then we can exercise the new rule where we can cut one of our other high priced players and sign JRSmith when he returns to America, jus sayin....:troll:

He has to wear that mask because he broke his nose too many times. His doctors told him they don't know what will happen to his nose if he breaks it again, so the told him if he wants to keep playing and have a normal nose, wear the mask.

You don't got a be a gump about it Scottie, I wasn't even being sarcastic to you. But you wanna know who would wear it for a fashion statement, your boy Earl Smith III. He probably put fake tattoo on it.

BLAH...would have been excited about getting Hamilton...5 YEARS AGO!

Injuries and him being 33 now...he is a short term solution (YOU HOPE IF HE CAN STAY HEALTHY), hopefully the Bulls can eventually find that young SG to grow with Derrick Rose...Bulls probably should hold on to Bogans though for Defense and Bogans was a pretty good 3 Point Shooter last season and Rotation of Bogans and Hamilton wouldn't be bad...Brewer or Korver would have to go though

Rose likes anyone who can help this team and not steal his spotlight.

yeah I think it is a lot of fans who want it that way as well

they want Rose to "DO IT BY HIMSELF"...that is not going to happen though, Bulls gotta have another "GO TO GUY"

maybe the Bulls are waiting for Eric Gordon and will go after him next year, he and Rose are Good Friends:

Excuse me sir, but I don't think any free agent that was and is available could take the spotlight from Rose with one arm tied behind his back..
