That is unless MJ comes out of retirement....

And then people will find a flaw n his age....

Nothings perfect.

But when it comes down to it, with Jerry Reinsdorff is all about $$$$$

I like Hamilton's veteran experience and his spot-up shooting. He'd be a good pickup. I don't know if this makes the Bulls an immediate contender against the Heat, but it's a good start. Ideally I'd like to see them get one more SG who is a little younger than Rip to complement what he will bring to Chicago.

I like this move. Rip will be a great addition for the team & we don't have to do it by subtraction. Plus his deal, which will be around $8-10mill/2yrs, keeps us under the tax line & gives us flexibility when year 3 of the CBA hits & luxury tax teams must bend over to take a giant Larry O'Brien dildo balls deep.

If we sign RIP we better take a shot at Billups, he is being amnestied by the Knicks in order to make cap space for Tyson Chandler

He wants to be a starter, not a role player. His ego wouldn't be a good fit with this unit IMO.

I didn't know he was like AI, oh well screw that :bullbang:

DCGuy posted this in another thread about Billups.

“I want my freedom. My goal is to control my own destiny. And as you’ve seen in my career, I’ve never been in a position to do that. I know some teams out there are saying, ‘Oh, Chauncey will be great in mentoring’ and I’m tired of that. I’ve got a few good years left to play, and I’m not trying to come in and sit on the bench, or be a mentor. I’m not going to be that guy. I want to go somewhere and win. I want to choose.”

So he's going to be stubborn like Brett Favre and when he eventually fails due to his hard headedness, he's going to wish he came here to be a part of the Dynasty

I don't think it will happen, but I wouldn't mind having Billups....
He's a class act and a totally differant personality than AI......
But then again, I also agree that he would probably rather be a starter somewhere, but when he looks at his hand and only sees 1 ring, he might change his mind and do whatever is asked of him on a contender......Its Chaunceys call

I want no part of Billups. I can understand being upset about getting cut, but to basically tell teams "Don't take me or I'll **** your team up" is classless & unprofessional. He will end up in Miami, where that sort of behavior is nurtured & encouraged.

Keith Bogans is not shit compared to him imo, other than Keith's defense which is tops as of SGs.

My favorite teams
  1. Chicago Bulls
Chauncey has been a sleeper for his whole career, but what makes him that special? I don't blame him for feeling the way he does, and I'll side with him wanting to go somewhere to captain a team. However, he did have every opportunity to fulfill his dreams in that role.
If he is inferring to being a #1 or #2 guy on a winner, he better not kid himself. He is simply not that good. There are a lot of teams that can use his talents, but methinks he is trying to make a push to go to the Heat or Lakers(sans CP3), which would be total bullshit.
