What if David Stern vetos Rip coming to the Bulls......

In the world of Sternism, nothng is ever official.....

A player can get traded or sign with another team, put on his new uniform and start off playing in a game... and Stern has the power to walk out on the court in the middle of a game and say "hey, I want you on a differant team"........

You just never know with that strange fellow..

Def worried about how damn cheap this team is! Rip is better than Bogans but JRich is def better than both of them!!

The Bulls never offered JRich the MLE and Thonus said that he heard from a few people in the league that he would have taken it if it was offered! But we didnt want to offer it to him because he would want 4 years instead of 2

**** the Bulls cheap ass Brass

Incase you havnt noticed, PaxGar always go shopping at Sanford and Sons..
Once in a while they bid on abandoned storage units that are auctioned off to save a buck...

Paxson doesn't even wear real Jordans.
He wears the fake immitation ones they sell at minimart gas stations and the Swap o Rama Flea Market in Alsip, Illinois.

The only way Pax would get Richardson is if he dies..Then Pax would send Doctor Frankenstein to the graveyard to re-animate his corpse through electricity the same way he did with Kurt Thomas...:troll: ....unfortunately he lost his creation to another team....I believe portland is picking up the Thomas monster..

So which is it? Are the Bulls cheap or are Boozer, Noah and Deng overpaid? I wouldn't guarantee JRich for 4 years either. He said he was more concerned with titles...well...look where he signed.

Well...I have always thought that a player that was truly after a title would sign for less and go to a team like us or heck even Miami. Butler and JRich going to the teams they did show they choose money over championships, and you know what? Too bad for them.

Regarding the question, you could say both. The argument could be made that the Bulls overpay their current players and are too cheap to give out the same money to a decent free agent (which in this context means giving a full MLE offer to Richardson or Butler or Crawford or whoever).

Looking at how things are playing out though, with Richardson reupping with Orlando, Butler going to LAC, Carter going to Dallas, TMac going to Atlanta, and a lot of reports saying we're going to sign Hamilton, I can't really blame the Bulls FO too much. Hamilton is still an upgrade...though and aging one who doesn't exactly do what we need. But an upgrade is still an upgrade. We'd be tripling our point production from the SG spot, and idk if we can realistically ask for much more.

Give up the ghost on Tracy McGrady. He's washed up. He just doesn't know it yet.

Deng may have been overpaid, but he is earning that contract now. Noah isn't exactly overpaid, given what he does and how much other C's are getting currently. Boozer? Well, he has to not get injured so much and he production will match his contract.

And yes you are right, they seem to be very hesitant to hand out money to FA's that might possibly sign here. I think missing out on J-Rich, Caron, and VC is a good thing.

But that solely depends on us finally signing Rip.

Due to being released on Monday a player must pass through the waiver wire for 48hrs before signing with a team on their own. Unless something crazy happens he will be signing tomorrow morning & practicing with the team Wednesday also. His contract would be for 2yrs/10mil from Chicago.

Great. Now the "missing piece" is a 33 year old declining shooting guard.

I just think the Bulls front office is inept.
