Did I read that Detroit's population at one point was 2 million and it is now 700,000?</p>

Guess who is going to get hurt the most by the bankruptcy? The same ones that are going to do everything in their power to stop the bankruptcy.</p>

The unions. There are some interesting articles of how the city tried to negotiate with the unions prior to the filing.</p>

I'd like to read some of those articles, because the unions were trying to negotiate a decent wage for their workers,  Some of the cuts were to people averaging $15/hour and being cut $3.50 per hour less.
