Do you not have cable or satellite rice?

Nope. Prefer to feed and shelter the family :D

Paul Maholm doing well so far partially because the Tigers aren't used to that belt-to-letter high changeup that they'd otherwise pummel into outer space. Might not get so lucky next time through the order.

I was just curious. I understand how that feeding and sheltering thing goes. It isn't exactly cheap, and it is quite a bit cheaper out in the middle of no where where I live.

We tried to get DirecTV in our condo unit but the building manager freaked out because I think the building has a deal with Comcast. Weak.

Detroit defense is terrible.

I liked the part where the Cubs couldn't score more than one run with that opportunity. That was awesome.

you actually were on it? yikes! you must have fallen hard. :)

OBP = .311

Basically Campana needs to hit a line drive somewhere (rare) or push the ball on the ground in a specific spot (slightly less rare) to be effective. If he can get on base, though, he's awesome. That's a big if though.

Castro's OBP isn't much better though. That's really sad.

this is their chance. if they dont, they might not.

It really is their chance right here. They face the Cubs on the road, then the Rockies and Cards at home. Followed up with a road trip to Pittsburgh. They need to make some hay in that 15 game stetch because the road swing continues through Arlington and Tampa Bay.
