Ommy is the Nagy of CCS thread success.
What current fans don't understand about Butkus was:
-He was double and triple teamed on every play. Even Reggie White, Aron Donald and LT werent triple teamed
-OJ Simpson once said that every offense had to make their plan around containing Butkus. Teams dont gameplan around a single defensive player now
-As a MLB Butkus had 25 ints in 9 seasons. He was everywhere. Rushing the passer, running sideline to sideline and dropping back in coverage. Singletary was a downhill MLB and couldnt drop into coverage. Urlacher could move sideline and drop back but wasnt strong rushing the QB. LT was strictly a pass rusher after his second season and only had 9 INTs in 13 seasons. He wasnt a LB but a pass rusher
A Bears board is really talking shit about Dick Butkus?
The guy had 49 turnovers in his career. 49. Urlacher had 38.
Warden of the Down South likes him. Like, really likes him.How do you have -1532 liked posts?
Ommy got distracted dreaming of menage de Warden.Please explain to me how a middle linebacker, who
you say plays all over the field, can possibly get double and triple teamed on every play.
Butkus = god
That makes sense because there was times when Fields played like he didnt know wtf he was looking at on the field.

Actually, when you are writing about the real god, then you capitalize. When you are refering to someone as a god then you don't capiailize. to capitialize without refering to the real god is sacrilegiousYou are right about Butkus' ability. And the shitty team that Halas built around him. Seems like Virginia inherited that ability.
However, I think a good "Christian" like yourself would capitalize God.
There is no real god. That was just a graphic book of make believe storiesActually, when you are writing about the real god, then you capitalize. When you are refering to someone as a god then you don't capiailize. to capitialize without refering to the real god is sacrilegious
If you had a University of Chicago graduate degree like me you would know that. Your High School education doesn't count
God - Definition, Meaning & Synonyms
A god is a supreme being or deity, and it's spelled with a lowercase g when you're not referring to the God of Christian, Jewish, or Muslim tradition. The ancient Greeks had many gods — including Zeus, Apollo, and Poseidon.www.vocabulary.com
