Not sure what that means, so is caleb gonna suck then?

At least you didnt start justin fields over jared goff last week like I did. 99% of the so called "experts" on fantasypros said that I should start him
That means i believe in Caleb this week to have a better game than Baker who's been really good in the first two games.

He wasnt sacked a lot because he had multiple NFL linemen on his OL, including a top 5 pick LT

Caleb had nothing on the OL that was deemed NFL talent. Caleb was pressured much more than jayden. Its a team sport, maybe you cant process that. Jonah Monheim was the only nfl prospect and he was a 7th round pick. I doubt he ever plays meaningful reps in the NFL

When they were actually pressured, jayden took sacks almost as much as caleb.

I'm sure if you let caleb play behind 4 NFL level OL and with brian thomas jr, malik nabers, and mason taylor he would also take a lot less sacks in college
Again, the study wasn’t “what do players who weren’t sacked a lot, but could have been, do.” It was just players who were sacked a lot.

Caleb creates his own pressure. He has a terrible habit of climbing the pocket when his tackles done have the edge rusher sealed off… I.e. when there’s nothing pushing him to climb. He also just doesn’t process well and holds the ball way too long looking to play backyard ball.

Jayden has rebutted your presumption. Do you know how that works? You look at the college experience and presume that “well you know if Jayden didn’t have x, y and z he wouldn’t have done better.” Jayden has been far better as a pro. It’s not close. You’re making excuses still, but national people who aren’t invested like you are are starting to be like “okay, it’s game 20… if it’s there, we need to see it now.” I actually think we will today… about to win some money. But not against teams who aren’t as awful as Dallas defensively.

Caleb hasn’t been anything close to what I’m sure you thought he’d be as a pro. And, if it was how I’m sure you think it is, and this dude is a super star surrounded by suckage… you’d know it. He’d be making play after play after play and you’d have guys just blowing it.

Caleb will be fine. They brought in the right coach to fix the situation. They are most likely one completion or not getting one horrendous call on Wright from being 1-1.

If Mahomes had been selected in 2017, they probably win the SB in ‘18.

They’ve picked the wrong guys in the past.

McNown instead of Culpepper

Trubisky instead of Mahomes

It would not have mattered the year Fields was drafted because they all suck from that class.

If Caleb ends up failing, it will be on him not the team.

I think if fans and media give him a chance to develop, he’s going to have the game slow down for him.

Daniels started this year with two sub par games and now he’s injured.

Nix was rough against the Titans and lost to Daniel Jones.

JJ has been horrible except for one quarter and is injured again.

Penix did nothing against the Vikings and I didn’t see any of his first game.

Stroud has been pretty average since being anointed.

Young QBs take time to develop and it’s never linear. Do you think the Browns wish they had been more patient with Mayfield? Look at the quagmire they’re in now.

I’m sick of losing too, but I’m not turning on Caleb. It would be stupid at this point.

I’ve seen way too many excellent QBs struggle early and then watch them turn it around. The current MVP definitely fits that description among many other notable examples.

I’m not suggesting you’re out on Caleb either. I’m just making some points here.
Didn't mean to imply I'm out. I should've said if they're picking another qb in a couple years...

Trading for the haul probably wouldn't have turned out much better but we definitely could have found someone late in the first round better than Caleb. Looking back now what would have done with the first overall pick 2 years in a row?
Yeah, Caleb looked awful yesterday. Great call!!!!!!!!!

As of right now Caleb is a top 9 QB in all major stats this season. He’s number 1 in total TDs and tied for first in TD passes. Caleb will only get better as the season goes on and he gets more comfortable in this offense. Justin Fields has played on 3 teams in 3 years and the way things are going the Jets will be taking a.l QB next year with their number 1 pick. Fields is destined to be a backup
