Did my good deed for the day

I don't know about that. I collect Hawks hats and if you can tell me the last time you saw one that said Western Conference Champions, let me know.

As for the Tshirt, I go through them constantly so another Hawk Tshirt is awesome.

So for someone who just rejoined the bandwagon to tell someone else that just joined the bandwagon, what to do and buy is pretty comical.

As for the bad luck I suppose that would work with the "Central Division Champions" hat as well. Hmm we are in the Stanley Cup Finals. Guess there goes that dumb ass theory.

If you want to buy a hat or shirt who the **** cares. If you are to cheap to do so, who the **** cares.

I had to add this somewhere talking about bandwagoners. Was anyone watching when CTL was interviewing some old boxer from Hammond (I think). He is fighting Saturday to try and get his 50th win. He was wearing a JT jersey. They commented on it and he said "Yeah, I picked out a 'Toes'!" Get a life you loser!

Until this year, never. They were in the Clarence Campbell Conference the last time they made it to the Final.

Before then, it was the Western Division champions.

[quote name="5Minutes4Fighting"]Actually i never heard about the bad luck thing, but to me its a lose-lose situation. These souvenirs are just to make money from the hype of the moment, which is winning the conference. If the Hawks win the Cup, I mean, really, who cares about winning the conference? And if they don't win the Cup, the disappointment would be huge and i personally wouldn't give a rats ass about winning the conference. And I wouldn't' even think about going out and buying a "Western Conference Champions" t-shirt. I think the old New York Jets' coach would say you play the game to win the Cup. Nothing else matters.

And if you buy a Western Conference Champions t-shirt, aren't you going to want a Stanley Cup champions t shirt next week? Then guess which one your going to wear this summer? So i say good job Sonny, better than helping a little old lady across the street.

Means nothing.

Apparently, nor does the fact in 49 years we've accomplished it just 5 times.

As do I RK. Mines not the greatest collection in the world (It shall get bigger) but I love em all. I will be buying a WCC Hawks hat no doubt about it once the assholes get them in here (I am forcing them too).

While I probably won't wear it it will join my other hats on display. Ther are only 3 or 4 hats I actually wear. 2 of them are pretty beat up and I can not find them anywhere to replace. I have learnt that when buying Hawk hats to wear that buying 2 at a time is probably the best bet. Us bald guys like our hats and we wear them out rather fast.

P.S. the hat in my signature picture is one I am looking for. If anyone knows a lead to where I can find one let me know. I have checked all websites and can't find the stupid thing. Love that hat but it's all beat to shit now and I need a new one.

TCD you should see my "lucky hat" I wear all the time. It's just disgusting, but it's my "lucky hat". I used to have one autograph on it, but you could never tell that now.

I wear it every day.

TCD, I may have an extra hat like that one (the back is red and the bill is black), that was a give-away from when I had 4 seats. If I can find it I'll send it to you. Not looking for it tonight though, got a game to prepare for.

I wear a "hat-trick hat" to every game. It's a hat that I don't mind losing. Currently, it's the Eddie O Heritage Night model.

Which is quite convenient being that it also doubles as a barf bag in case you get too drunk!
