My favorite teams
I give them credit for the effort but they clearly were not a Cup contender....barely a playoff contender. Their two best players (Kane & Toews) played like top players should but other than a handful of guys like DB, Saad and maybe Gus....they were just too short on talent. The constraints of bad contracts will continue to hold them back for quite awhile....probably past the point when Kane and Toews are still top players. I love them both but a trade which would've been unthinkable a few years ago might be in order.
