Four hours on high should cook any thawed chicken I would think

It wasn't exactly "thawed" . Still pretty solid when I first put it in the pan.

Homemade Swedish meatballs w/ egg noodles and a vegetable of some sort.

Tonight -- Crock Pot Chicken Bacon

1 can broccoli chz soup
1 can cream of celery soup
1/2 cup sour cream
1/4 cup flour
1/4 cup parmesan chz
tsp garlic
tsp b. pepper
1 cup milk
wisk - Pour in crock pot.

Fry bacon (medium). Set aside, partially cook chicken, poke w/ fork.

chicken goes in crock pot....bacon goes on top. Sprinkle w/ shredded chz. High for 6 hours.

That sounds about right.......
