I like Direct tv. With them you know what you are paying. Comcast prices varies at times because they tax you for unique reasons. I just like Direct TV better, to me it just seems like a better product and doesn't go off for hours like Comcast did through 5 minute thunderstorms.

I have Dish Network. I used to have a more expensive package, but cut it back to Dish America Silver, which is actually a pretty nice package for the money. I get most channels I got before with America's top 200. I get CSN as well. The only channels I don't get is FX and HD locals. I could get HD locals, but the trees around my house prevent me from getting reception on the satellite (which is a separate satellite from my other channels).

I have Mediacom for internet because I got a kick ass deal on it. $20/month for a year and $35/month for the second year. I get 8+ mb speed. When I had ATT internet I could barely get 1.5, and I was paying more.

I have Comcast. I don't love it, but I don't hate it either.
If I had a choice, I'd get Verizon Fios

I have Dish...I pay too much for it. Got pretty much every standard channel I want, but it is about $65/mo.

Seriously, seriously thinking about hooking my old computer up to a new flat-screen ($250-300 for a mid-size screen) and using it to watch my sports via streams, then just getting netflix.

Anything with Tivo will do.

I have DirecTV, my only complaint is the On Demand shit is complicated.

You just can't go on, you actually have to have it connected to the internet. Which doesn't even work.

Had comcast about ten years ago and it was lousy...shit ton of outages.

DirecTV only goes out when the storm clouds are a *****...which is actually less than the number of outages I had with comcast.
