My girlfriend wants to go for 4/5 days. Just wanted to get everyone's opinion. Haven't been since I was a kid. Is there adult stuff to do?

If you come to central FL, let me know. Tons better stuff to do than Disney while you're here.

I remember Universal Studios having some cool things. A few good rides. Other than that...just a lot of overpriced tourist things.

Anyone like going?

I can't stand dealing with people and their kids in Walmart for 20 minutes.

I'd probably wind up in a Florida jail if I spent days...

You gotta take your kids if you can afford it. 10 is a good age, 6 is too young, and depending on the kid 14 might be too old. I would never go for myself, too many better ways to spend money and precious vacation time.

This was back in 1999 but there was beer all over the place in Epcot. They have all these areas based on different countries, each one had at least one beer from that country. I actually have heard of people trying to get a beer from each country before being cut off, that's not easy, they are pretty quick on the cut off trigger. Apparently Disney thinks drunk people don't add to the "happiest place on earth" vibe.

I wish I could've taken you up on this last year b/c I took my family to Orlando for 10 days and we just mostly hit up the amusement parks. I was going crazy for a while there. One day we took a break and went to St. Augustine, and that was probably my favorite part of the trip. In hindsight, we should've planned more days like that.

To the OP: You should check out Universal Studios Island of Adventure (or is it Adventure Island)? I really enjoyed the rides there more than Disney, especially the Harry Potter and Incredible Hulk rides. And if you have the time, do other stuff as nvan mentioned.
