I just redid my bathroom for dirt cheap and am putting the leftover cash in to my garage/shed.

My garage is not huge, space is at a premium.
I have a shed right behind the garage with room to grow.
Going to extend the shed a little, put my air compressor and storage tanks back there, pull the central vacuum system out of the house because I never use it, and reinstall I nbn in the shed.
Going to wire them to switches in the garage, run the hoses to a couple points inside, and have a pressure dial for the compressor mounted to the connection points.
I also have a spare furnace fan I use to create positive or negative pressure set up by a window, and I am going to move that in the the shed and run the ventilation from there as well.

Going to save a ton of room this way. Getting the shop vac, compressor, fans, storage tanks and all the shit that goes with it out of my way will free up the entire back wall of the garage, not to mention the extra storage space along the new wal space of the shed.

Respect, that’s a whole lot of manly fixes way far beyond my capabilities.

Put in a new $450 sump pump With backup last month. Primary is already screaming. Must be a bad bearing. Basement watchdog sucks. New Zoeller is on the way and should arrive Wed. Only $700.

What are you guys working on?

Did you start from scratch or just replace the pumps?

I have a shit ton of little projects to do, but the hardest one for me seems to be clutter.

It is like a never ending battle to have the entire house in order and as soon as I get one area right there is another area that is messed up. The wife and I are always buying shit too so there is always more new stuff to figure out a place for. its fucking annoying!

Screaming with sound? returning the Watchdog?

I just replaced an old leaking toilet in a tiny bathroom, with 10" rough-in toilet, new base too, used a rubber ring instead of the wax ring for the long haul. Works great, even more leg room. Now what to do with the old, ugly bottom but functioning old toilet?
