Mine has always been the Brewers, got to watch a lot of them as a kid playing the sox and they just grew on me going to so many games. Honorable mentions: Pirates and KC. Just because of George Brett and Bobby Bonilla and company for those teams.

I don't follow them really at all, but if I had to claim a second team it would be the Detroit Tigers. I was born in the UP and a lot of my family is from Michigan. I actually got to go to a game at the Old Tiger Stadium. I used to enjoy watching the mid 90s version with Cecil Fielder, Mickey Tettleton, Travis Fryman and Kevin Tapani, actually was a real big fan of Tap even before his time with the Cubs.

Cecil was a lot of fun to watch, and I will admit that is at least part of the reason why I've wanted the Cubs to get Prince this offseason.

nothing wrong with that. we all have a player(s) from other teams that we grew up watching that had an impact on us.

My hate of the Yankees has me pulling for Boston sometimes.

San Francisco Giants :D

Which is why I wouldn't have minded a sweep this week. Helps SF win the NL West and helps the Cubs secure a high pick. Oh well, today's win was pretty awesome and SF is still in the lead.

I also tend to root for whoever the NL rep is in the World Series, even if it is the Cardinals. Unless the Indians magically make it to the Series, then I think I'll root for them.

I've just always liked the Indians for some reason. I've been to Cleveland only once however, during the inaugural season of the new Jacobs' Field. It was pretty sweet though, got to see Albert Belle hit a grand-slam.

Why the hell would she try and throw it away?

Nothing wrong with that. I shoot up 'roids on a regular basis to help bolster my posting performance.

The Cubs are my second team. I'm a die hard Tigers season ticket holder, but growing up the Cubs were always on WGN so they were the only out out town team we could watch (before the internet and Extra Innings/mlb.tv). I started following them around '88 and would even skip class to watch afternoon games early and late in the season.

To make things better I met my wife at Wrigley in 2006 while we were both on a season ticket holders bus trip to see the Tigers. Two years later we had a Tigers/Cubs themed wedding. My guys wore Cubs jerseys and the bridesmaids wore Tigers jerseys. So now the Cubs and Wrigley have a special place in our life.

Ya know, usually the Cubs are breaking, not conjoining, hearts, so that's pretty cool, lol.
