Not that I pay a ton of attention to either of them, but I like the Mariners, because of Ichiro, and the Marlins, because of Morrison.

I am rather partial to Boston and the diamondbacks. Boston because I hate the Yankees and David Ortiz gives me a boner. The diamondbacks because I have family out there, so I get to go to games on occasion when I go out there.

I don't follow them really at all, but if I had to claim a second team it would be the Detroit Tigers. I was born in the UP and a lot of my family is from Michigan. I actually got to go to a game at the Old Tiger Stadium. I used to enjoy watching the mid 90s version with Cecil Fielder, Mickey Tettleton, Travis Fryman and Kevin Tapani, actually was a real big fan of Tap even before his time with the Cubs.

My wife and kids are up in the UP right now. The wife's grandparents own a house up there on a lake (both g-parents are from up there).

On topic: No second favorite team here. I like to see some teams lose (Yanks, Cards, any NL Central teams besides Cubs) but otherwise I just root for the Cubs. Other than the Cubs, I guess I more enjoy seeing individual players do well than other teams.
