He's probably upset because it's kind of unfair for Bearsbud to go on and on about defense being offense, sauce being gravy, and then Bears Pride for using the Bears forum as a beard. Relatively, Soccer is harmless compared to these topics.

Point well taken. OTOH, it does piss off an egg when there are 32 OT threads on the Bears page then the mods have an aneurysm if anyone mentions soccer

Don't know why I'm even bothering but...

Or, keeping tabs on the forum / reading every post and thread isn't my full time job. Especially during the offseason when there isn't much going on. Maybe, just maybe, people tend to report the soccer threads more because it is a completely different sport that many NFL fans have a degree of contempt for. Those reports hit my inbox, then I come to the forum and see a bunch of other unrelated threads and move or delete like 10 things.

And sometimes, yes...there have been threads that are about another player or team that I let roll in there because it was the offseason. Not a lot of stuff to talk about, so if it was remotely football related I kept it in the main Bears forum. Because the season is about to start, we added another subforum called Around The League a few weeks back to move those kind of topics to.

You don't feel something is appropriate for the Bears forum, report it. You still feel singled out from "different rules for different posters" perspective? Feel free to PM me.
