You're right broseph...How many shows do you think Roger Goodell has put an end to? Do you think he had a hand in Franklin and Bash getting cancelled?

Sure

You can shut up now. God you are a miserable prick, all you do is ***** and argue w people all the time.

You are trying really hard to prove me wrong that playmakers wasn't cancelled due to how real it is.

Easy brochacho, I was just getting your opinion on if Goodell may have played a factor in Franklin and Bash getting the axe...I find it curious that when Goodell is starting to get a lot of heat on the decisions he has made...a show about two hot shot lawyers gets canned.

Discuss.

I think they are messed up and stupid. Seeing a Bison chilling in some cage while people take pictures of it, when they should be chilling out in the open range of Montana is some bullshit

The zoo is for people who are too poor to go to national parks to see animal grazing naturally.

I didn't realize there were Polar Bears and Kangaroos roaming around Illinois state parks. I can't believe I spent $25 to see them at Brookfield!!!

Zoos depress me, maybe because I remember the old horrible ones where the animals literally paced grooves into the concrete. They are so much more humane, now, and of course they are valuable for research and preserving endangered species. I don't go to them myself because I still get bummed out. My town, Albuquerque, is supposed to have a very good one that a lot of people enjoy.

Another true story:

Male giraffes determine female fertility by tasting the female's urine to detect a chemical called estrus. The stronger the taste...the more fertile the female.

That's why I love zoos. They taught me weird shit like that.

(you're welcome for getting back on topic, OP)
...so Giraffes are Nature's R. Kelly?

I'll be stealing this from you come December.

As for Zoos, I know there's one out here where it's just basically the native wildlife that's allowed to roam around the preserve, and the humans are in the cages--the path around the preserve is caged in. Nice idea I think but only really works with native wildlife.

Personally, I prefer Aquariums.

As for Brookfield Zoo, I was last there sometime in 1983.

Please point out where I said "Illinois state parks." I said national parks. There are national parks all over the world. If you want to see kangaroos, try visiting Kangaroo Island in Australia. You'll be surrounded by them on the beach. Probably slightly more enjoyable than seeing them in a cage at Brookfield. But hey if that's what you enjoy, knock yourself out.

...so Giraffes are Nature's R. Kelly?

Was someone ingesting the urine in that Kelly case?

Was it R. Kelly?

Is that how he got the voice of an angel?

(...zoos sure make you think...)

The issue was your generalization that zoos are for poor people which couldn't be further from the truth.

I don't feel like spending $2000 on a plain ticket to go to Australia when I can see them at Brookfield for $25. Has nothing to do with being poor, but convenience.

Could I spend 2k right now and go to Australia? Yes. Would I rather save the money and my time and turn a weeks trip into a single day trip? Yes.

I would rather go to an arts & crafts show than go to the zoo to see suicidal animals shoved into cages. I can't imagine how anyone over the age of 5 thinks that is enjoyable.
