Nope and I don't claim that I do like some people in this board.

I set multiple high school football record and played for a Big 10 college. I was suppose to be drafted into the NFL but fell a little short. I had a bad reputation with alcohol and drugs.

Live in NY. As a child I refused to be forced to be either a Jets or Giants fan so I chose the Bears.

I'm in Ohio, but majority of my family is from Gary Indiana. So grew up with my family as bears fans, so just kind of inherited it.

I went to a "inner city" high school on the North side of Chicago where I played various football positions and All Star pitcher. Picture a white Bo Jackson. I caught a scholarship to a Big 10 college and flunked out.

Family was from south side of Chicago. My grandma owned a little diner called Mary's Diner. I'm from Indiana but whole family have always been Chicago sports fans.

My favorite teams
  1. Chicago Bulls
  2. San Antonio Spurs
  1. Chicago Bears
  2. Cleveland Browns
  1. San Jose Sharks
  1. Miami (Ohio) Redhawks
  2. Notre Dame Fighting Irish
Northern Indiana, essentially the far east suburbs. Doesn't matter where folks are from anyways. Better to be a Bears fan, than to like the Cowboys and Atlanta Braves.

Lived in the actual city for a couple of years, grew up in the burbs. I've spent more than half my life outside the Chicago area now but it still feels like home.

Been in the Chicago area most of my life but never lived in the city. Evanston, Carpentersville, Elgin. In DeKalb now. My wife is from the NW side (close to Queen of All Saints Basilica).
