Yes they all come with a waterproof housing. One guy lost his in the ocean for a few weeks I think it was and it washed up and was fine. Some guy dropped his down a dirt cliff and it was fine. They're really durable and nice cameras for first person type stuff

I got mine for 149... it was a generation behind.
I got a 32 gig card that holds about 10 hours of 1080p.
They are for all intents and purposes cheap as dirt and very reliable. No zoom, but for first person stuff it kicks ass.

I finally got one after seeing the vid of the camera that fell from a plane, landed, got gnawed on by a pig, and still survived... how can you pass that up?

that is gonna be some badass footage.

I am gonna do a bike trip in vegas through the mountains in a couple weeks, I am hoping to get some good footage out there.
Although, the best footage might be the scenery walking up and down the strip.....

My dad bought the GoPro Hero 4 (latest gen), it's around $400 but I think he traded for it. Either way, the thing shoots at 4k resolution. He let me borrow it for a day and I loved it.

I had a contour roam and then got a go pro. The go pro is WAY better. But here are a few videos. This one I did in one day just to try things out and also to see how to put together a short movie. No big tricks or anything in this one. I will try to find some other vids. I have a hilarious one of snow shoveling that actually looks pretty funny because I attached it to the shovel. Pretty funny how things look with a solid point of reference in the video. I have also attached to my bow at the range, but the arrow is too fast to show anything good.

By the way, I love wakeboarding, so I even more enjoy watching your vids! The most I can do is a front flip on rare occasion but it is cool watching your first person perspectives!

That is pretty cool. It looks like the snow is just flying off the shovel on it's own.
Maybe I'm just easily amused though.
