And a climbing video from Moab. I put in music so as to not subject everyone to my heavy breathing and yelling at my belayer for more rope.

Everyone looks so serious! But that looks pretty fun. Did you have a live stream of the gopro to look at while you were flying? Or did you have to keep it in clear sight?

Did not have a stream.
The dude at the beginning of the video built it, and I just had to trust him that the drone would not fall out of the sky.

By the way, I love wakeboarding, so I even more enjoy watching your vids! The most I can do is a front flip on rare occasion but it is cool watching your first person perspectives!

Front flip is one on the more advanced tricks- that is pretty badass!
The snow vid cracks me up- these cameras allow you to see really cool perspectives of everyday stuff.

I have been toying with the idea of trying to mount it under my car just to see what the footage would look like that close to the road.

Yeah, but I cant do anything between 360s and front flips! I need more time on the water I guess. I actually havent been wakeboarding in about 5 years. Super miss it.

With the gopro, you really just have to give it a shot. Things that seem boring end up with crazy shots. I have a ton of helicopter footage cruising through river valleys, climbing in and out off of cliffs, etc. Unfortunately, I cant post it as it could get some people in trouble.

I also enjoy the time lapse function- on a whim I set it up on some tomato plants I was growing for my garden for a day- got shots of a couple shoots unfolding and waving around.

During the winter I kept on meaning to do a time lapse of a heavy snowfall, but I never got the timing right.

I tried to film a banana rotting in time lapse, but something stole it- It was there one frame, the next the camera was knocked askew and the banana was gone.

The banana story is hilarious. I was hoping you were going to say a friend took it and ate it in front of the camera or something.

Thanks for reminding me of the time lapse function. I need to play with that more.

A time lapse of a big storm rolling in could be pretty cool.

A buddy of mine and I were discussing this very thing yesterday- I grew up in AZ and his parents live there so he visits frequently. We were talking about how cool Haboobs and monsoons rolling in would be on time lapse.

If I lived in a flatter area, I would set mine up tonight for the storms rolling in!
