lol

thats what you took from that game? its the refs that need to be held accountable? and the pats are suspicious?

It's not the only thing I took from the game, genius. Apparently you missed the part where I agreed that the Bears were outplayed (vastly). Man do people compete to try to be the King of Snark on here? Is it that important to you to get some jab in? Can you not agree that something stinks about a call like that, where it's not just a judgement call where the refs are trying to decide if someone caught a ball or not. This was a case of a phantom false-start penalty where no whistle blew or flag thrown, which should have been a dead-ball foul, being called after a failed 4th and goal attempt and the officials granting New England another attempt on 4th down.

Is there any good reason why deflating balls needs to be banned? I mean, who gives a ****? They already fucked the D over to increase scoring, why would anyone care about ball inflation?

I would say let people play with any ball they wish to, but get rid of the rule entirely so that some teams aren't ignoring it while others are.

Look man, I know we sucked that game (hell we sucked last year.) I couldn't even watch the end of it. But this call upsets me because it smells of something else, and that's the point I'm making. It bothers me that "oh, because it was the Bears", no one bothered to explain it. Not after the game or anytime since. Everyone was so hung-up on the blowout and how we were outclassed. Yeah, we were outclassed, but that doesn't mean you take away the moral victory of a goal-line stance in the game. It was like the Bears didn't matter in the scheme of things, and as a fan of this team for 35 years, that pisses me the **** off. So I'm not prepared to just write it off without hoping someone ultimately has to answer for one of the worst calls I've ever seen. In my opinion it was just as egregious than what happened to Detroit in the Playoffs, so egregious that I openly wonder if there was foul play involved. And that's my point.

I think the bears should play with fully deflated balls. It would cut down on picks

I get ya. I think you're asking a fair question.
