Aussie mix. I saw his mom and she is all aussie and his dad is supposed to be a cattle dog but Rango is too big for that. Over 70 pounds and tall. He came from an Amish farm so who knows what else she hooked up with. A breeder friend told me that there can be more than 1 father per litter. The other pups looked like cattle dogs and were smaller. I would say Aussie/ Shepard.

When my mom was a kid growing up her family had a mutt named Laddie who was notorious for nailing bitches all over Terre Haute. Many years later when we would visit my grandparents we would still see local dogs running around that looked a lot like his picture.
