Connor Bedard (numbers in CHL compare toMcDavid
Michkov (numbers in KHL compare to Ovi and surpass Kucherov/Kunetsov/Panarin/Malkin)
Fantilli (numbers in NCAA compare to Eichel and the best college players of all-time, he did have lots of help)

Thats right, there are three number #1 worthy picks in this draft, so after further youtube review a trade down with Anaheim or Colombus would not hurt my feelings if thats what the man wants to do.

Idk if we’re allowed new threads on this forum so this response could be a waste of time. They don’t need more picks so **** a trade down. They have plenty of picks. If they don’t take bedard I prob be at a point of disinterest with this team like I have for the bulls and white Sox rn.

The end

Bruh, FULL STOP, please. This is madness.

Unless Bedard gets hit by a bus between now and draft day, there is a 0.0% chance that he will not be a Hawk, time to focus on the second 1st-round pick.

I don't think it's as cut and dry as the media is pushing.

Bedard is like an autistic spectrum freak who never put down a stick as a child, but he doesn't have the physical gifts of some other players. He just loved hockey like Gretsky and developed mentally quicker and way ahead of peers together with the Gretsky/Marovich type skill profile.

It would be an easy decision if Michkov and Fantilli were not in "best ever for age" discussions in their leagues as well.

I have taken Caarlson down a notch and limited my #1 worthy picks to 3 guys.

Smith/Jones/Benson and some others make one of the strongest top 10's of all time.

There is a reason this draft was legendary two years before it got here.

So, I for sure would be mad if the price was not high.

But I don't think you don't consider

Zegras/Gibson/#2/#32/#55(bruins)/2024 unprotected 1st/2024 2 more seconds

Which is a package Anaheim could lead with.
If Peterson took that I would not call him crazy or self immolate.

Would Anaheim even be into that or just prefer to walk to podium and say Fantilli or Michkov?

Considering Michkovs father got murdered in Sochi recently I would imagine he comes over sooner than later. But it raises gambling questions for me pending investigation.

My gut says from watching Peterson he actually likes one of Fantilli or Michkov almost or as much as Bedard for the team he and Davidson are trying to build.

If that's the case it would be hard to turn down the offer above.

On a more positive note Bedard and Del Maestro already played on the same line for Canada at worlds, starting the comeback on Maestro assist in gold medal game.

You're just straight wrong, dude.

I would only take the Hershel Walker begrudgingly and with great fear but I would take it with Zegras and Gibson thrown in.

Those two ensure the 2024 is also top 3.

I really don't think you can differentiate between Fantilli/Bedard/Michkov with certainty at the next level.

This is not Connor McDavid who is a better player than all of them will ever be.

The reward for picking him is higher than the risk of not. No one is passing on him.

Fair enough but don't expect Connor McDavid.

I do think that Jack Hughes lower half and Bedards upper half would be the closest thing you might get to Gretsky. So Gretsky's upper half is likely a can't pass as you say.

Looks like Peterson and I will die on this hill, take Bedard and like it.

Thank you for rectifying me with rectal intent.

Likely warranted. I deserve and would like another.

Who is Peterson... you've said this multiple times now. Do you mean Davidson? Are you truly in the spiderverse?

@BEARZOMBIE. Fyi looks like the mods want threads like these. Keep this in mind and bookmark this thread as a reference before you make your next one in this forum.
I’m not making anymore threads. The 20 mods in this forum are nervous enough already as we are approaching a dangerous milestone of 10 posts in this sub forum today

They are not passing on Bedard. Davidson would be fired on the spot and never given a GM position or any type of position in hockey ever again.

If you are talking a trade down, you are asking for everything the ducks have so Bedard has nothing to play with for the next few years and the Ducks aren't doing that.

Don't over think this. It's bedard.

As for the second first, I'm in the "let's see who falls" group.

This draft is so deep some teams will value players ahead of higher ranked prospects and there will be a run on the five defenseman with first round grades. I think once Reinbacher and Sandin-pellika get drafted teams looking for defense will panic.

If Danielson falls that would be amazing. 200ft player who is one of the best skaters in the draft. He would be the next Toews.

You DONT consider that.

You ask for Zegras, McTavish, Drysdale, and their 24, and 25 first rounders unprotected on top of the second overall.

If the Ducks accept that, you make that trade laughing. They wouldn't.

Connor Bedards don't come around every year. A generational talent on an ELC has more value to a franchise then just winning hockey games. You are basically screwing a team of all their development they invested to get one.

I doubt Bettman would allow it.....he worked real hard to get Bedard in Chicago.

And who the **** is Peterson?
Oops, sorry that's not you....it was a quote.
But just another reason why I blow past most of his stuff.

There, I said Anaheim could open with my package, and you have made the counter.

Season ticket sales would dictate the world must be given, but Anaheim needs those much more than us and they just might give up the world.

It's only considered for the world, and under the condition that Davidson actually covets somebody more. Has conviction about another player being the best pro from this draft and is willing to take a ransom to risk his career.

The Hershel Walker experience.

This thread is more about preparing you guys for the possibility.
