Which of these (if any) would you consider? (they all work on the draft value chart)

1. Bears pick #87 plus BOTH Bears 2nd round picks in 2020 for Patriots pick #32.

2. Bears pick #87 plus Bears (from Oakland) 2nd round pick in 2020 for Miami pick #48.

3. Bears pick #87 for Giants pick's #108, 132 and 142.

Me personally....

Scenario:

1. Hell no.

2. Maybe. Would have to be a RB Pace loved.

3. Absolutely.

Unless the Bears are setting a smoke screen I think Pace is at least contemplating a trade up with one or both of those second round picks. They've had Josh Jacobs in for a private workout and there's no way he lasts till #87. Me personally I'm trading down if possible and getting a few more picks. Pace has proven he can find guys in round 4 and 5 so I'd love another pick or two there much more so than putting all my eggs in one basket. Plus this team IMO needs more than one RB. Needs depth at TE, OL, CB, and EDGE plus one or two more RB's

I would be fine if the Bears used THEIR OWN 2020 2nd round pick to move up into the mid 2nd round to get the RB that they want.

Last year it cost a 4th round pick and a future 2nd to get the 51st pick. If Henderson or Sanders hit pick 56 I would call and see if they would take that deal again if I loved those RBs.

The first scenario would be idiotic. Unless, Pace does it, then it is aggressive and genius.

100% agree. I included it more to just show it is "possible."

My favorite teams
  1. New York Mets
  1. New York Knicks
  1. Chicago Bears
  1. New York Rangers
  1. Syracuse Orange
Tough to make any of those choices without knowing what players would be on the board still at #32 (Pats pick) and #48 (Miami pick) but i would most likely do #3 for sure.

Don't for get S since HaHa is only signed to a one year deal. That's actually a pretty big need.

With all the success he has had at the position so late in the draft...I would be floored if Ryan Pace traded up for a running back. It makes no logical sense.

(Which is it will probably happen and I will probably call him an idiot)

Leming had a tracker list of prospects bears had met with...surprisingly there are no TE's and for RB's henderson is not on the list...
it could be a smokescreen for both position groups as TE depth is becoming a bigger concern

There are a couple of really nice fits.

Also, Darrell Henderson has some pretty production and to me would be worth a move.

Then I will let you get first dibs at talking me down from the ledge when Pace continues to pepper the NFL with all of these draft picks he says he wants to build the team with.

This is the first draft in forever I am hoping for some clever trade downs to stack the back end of such a young roster.

I would like to see that as well.

But, if the guy is there and you think he can be a difference maker at the one position on offense that there is some concern I think you can be aggressive.

I could see what happened in the Floyd and 10Gawd years of a move up, followed by a move down. Trade 2[2020] and 4th and then move down from 87 and gather some picks.

Not a huge fan of continuing to trade away picks either but lets not forget:

This team is racing against the clock to build a championship team with a countdown timer until Trubisky needs to get paid.

So they have a very real incentive to be ultra aggressive and take chances on guys to try and maximize this small window they have before it is too late. Stock piling assets and late round picks is usually good, but most likely by the time those guys pan out we'll be talking about Trubisky's new contract

I am not a huge fan of thinking that the next two seasons are some sort of window due to cap space. That is really not a thing. i think it is something like 2 of the last 20 Super Bowl winners had QBs on a rookie contract.

A great QB will win more rings than a cheap one.

Option #3 would be my choice, and I will be thrilled if that actually happens. One of those picks also needs to be a QB. Chase Daniels is too expensive, and will at some point need to go. Replace him with a 3rd rd backup who can be developed. The Bears are a young team, and need to stay that way for long term success. Pace needs to acquire more picks to keep the roster stocked. The Bears need another young S, G, QB, OLB, CB, & RB.

The Bears will have to wildly change their team building method once the QB is making real money.

The window right now is that they have a very good roster that is missing 1 or 2 pieces. That is not going to be the case as talent is bled every offseason.

If Nagy thinks a specific RB maximizes their ability to win a Super Bowl over the next 3 years then go for it.

Im fully expecting a trade to move up into the 2nd. Pace has no chill on draft day, and i dont see him sitting patiently until the 3rd round. Gotta think it'll be for a RB, but im not ruling out any site-crashing picks either. Only thing guaranteed is that this board will be split on if it was a good move, or pace is an idiot. Should be fun.

I can't see that trade flying every year. Think the Patriots were hoping the Bears would be bad last year because getting a 4th round pick so you can A. wait a year and B. Pick 5 spots lower seems like a bad deal.
