I think if he signs, it will be closer to the deadline as he was drafted out of HS and might not know what he wants yet. The first 2 picks were surprises but they could end up being good. I hope!

Not yet. They have until mid Aug to sign him and he will be signed. It would be nice, for him to get some work in now.

Your going to be happy; the Cubs officially sign OF Reggie Golden. He was at Wrigley today and hit in the cage with Byrd, Theriot an others. Good for Golden!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! How cool for an 18 year old.
