Hell, I'll trade a 3rd or 4th for Bortles right now if they end up taking a QB.

Is there any reason to trust anything Gabriel is saying. Has he correctly predicted previous drafts? Seems odd he is somehow the overlord of insider info on each of these teams.. Personally, I think he's full of crap and/or these teams are using the spouting mouth full of crap to spew info for them that may be advantageous to their end.

Granted, it is entertaining leading up to the draft though.

I tend to agree, but his recent tweets have me intrigued nonetheless. I'll be interested to go back after the draft to see how accurate his tweets were. That should be a good indicator of how much BS he spews.

My ideal situation, given Garrett isnt there at 3, is to trade down in the top 10 where we can still grab one of the top 8 elite prospects or a QB and grab a few extra pics.

I'm all about the trade down in the 1st as well as long as we stay in the top 10 but top 7 would be better obviously. Trading down in the 1st gives us the ammo to trade back into the bottom of the 1st round while still coming out of this draft with 7 or 8 draft picks.

Greg Gabriel does not have the clout in the NFL to know who all these teams plan on drafting, he is full of shit.

How is he so sure SF isn't taking a QB? New GM, absolutely nothing at the position, #2 pick. Sure they might trade down or take another player, but I don't know how he can be so adamant about that.

Also, even if SF doesn't take him at 2, it's highly unlikely he gets to 12.

If I'm Cleveland I get my QB first and draft Derek Barnett at 12. Sure he isn't quite the elite athlete Garrett is, but I don't think the drop off is as big as some people. I see Garrett as Clowney and I see Barnett as Shawne Merriman. If they feel strongly about Trubisky, they should get him first.

I think San Fran is in a much better place than we are in that they can not draft a QB in this draft with almost a guarantee that they'll be able to get their QB next year with either K.Cousins, who has already made it clear that he wants to play for K.Shanahan and if not Cousins then you can pretty much say now they'll be drafting in the top 3 of the draft next year cause they're so far off from being a team ready to compete. I don't think they go QB in this draft but who the hell knows really cause they could be in love with one of these QB's.
