He loved Trubisky too
To be fair everyone loves Trubisky, there was never a time that anyone spoke ill of him at all. Mitch 's Bitches are what I am told the league referred to themselves when facing such a force of nature as Trubisky

Indeed, the total silence when he was selected was every bears fans total disbelief that Trubisky wasn’t selected first overall

I glazed all over mitch too in 2018, that season for him was pretty dang good and I expected for him to at least be an average NFL QB

Why all these rookies having good seasons last year does not mean they will be great going forward. Mac and Mitch both looked good early and ended up looking like trash the more tape NFL teams got on them.

You gonna go over your list of players you claimed would be good or will you just continue to evade this question for another year?
36 minutes and no answer. For a class 3 obese guy biff evades well.

Odd it didn't work out that way for Justin Fields, which checks my notes, is your guy.
Well my guy was fields and yours was Trubisky so let’s make a bet.I bet Fields has better week 1 stats this year then Mitch, what say you? Loser leaves for the year?

Lol Trubisky was not my guy, I just know that he's better than Justin ever was in Chicago.

I was OK with taking Mitch but not OK with how it was done. Always hard to predict which guy will be best but in that draft, I thought trading down a half dozen spots or so and taking whomever was left would be a nice way to go. Trading up was crazy and had the entire NFL including our HC dumbfounded.

Should I play the video of you?
Sure bro. The one where I was celebrating his 6 TD day? Oh you got me I was cheering for the Bears QB. What a loser I am for cheering for Trubisky during a good game. I wanted the Bears to draft Watson and he was playing at a high level until the massage parlor scandal.

There's a lot that goes into the success and failure of a QB, but nothing has been as clearly a failure as Justin Fields has been in basic fundamental and predictable as it was when he failed. I was done with Justin Fields after his game against Lovie Smith and the Texans year 2 game 3. I was done with Fields long ago and you're still acting like he has a chance.

That's because he played like shit 4 out of the 5 years he was in college. Ya'll act like he was a top dog every year he was in college, he wasn't. So I went with what I knew rather than the Heisman hype.

Assuming u r talking about Daniels, you went with the film you saw of his last year in college in one post. You said he was going to be a gargantuan bust in the NFL, one of the biggest ever judging from what you watched. One read QB who would not be a starter in the NFL.

Makes me think you shouldn't be judging QBs at all.

And this goes for everyone else who thought Daniels would bust and seemed so sure of it. It's how sure people like Daniel were that makes him and you all who did similarly look so stupid.

Daniel was the loudest so he's the one I remember but there were many of you.

I have no idea what people who pronounce these so-called busts are looking at when they say things like that. Daniels was an easy call that he would be able to play in the league and do well.

It's like they see the scouting reports and rankings of these players and decide that the people getting paid to rank them don't know anything.

I didn’t think Daniels would bust but also didn’t expect him to play that well. He was put into a good situation and looked great. Hope he continues looking strong moving forward.

Hopefully Williams can take that step forward this season. New play caller, IOL and shiny toys. He’s in a situation many dream about.

All of the top 3 deserved to go top 3 even if they had some concerns coming from college systems. Maye had that odd misfire they needed to sort out. A thin Daniel looked like he may not make it through an NFL season with the hits he took (by choice) and a short CW came from a very non-pro system where he held the ball too long.

No one knew how well any would run a complex NFL O. We still kinda don't. Daniels did great but but that O was pretty simple.

I was also pretty adamant about Drake Maye and Michael Penix, who both could wind up being better than Jayden Daniels before it's all said and done. So run your mouth as much as you'd like after one year.
