Drake Maye (Franchise QB or the next Franchise QB?)

The Galloping Ghost

He's like a slower, smaller, weaker armed Josh Allen.

Thread for Drake Maye discussion.

I’m in. But I’m not Gay4Maye. (Not that there’s anything wrong with that!)

Definitely have watched less tape of him than CW. Need to catch up

yeah man you have to watch the tape. Go to YouTube.com and search Drake Maye highlights

From what I have seen so far though….

My biggest concern is when he “loses the strike zone” it goes bad. Like there are a few really bad stretches I’ve seen. But then he throws some of the prettiest anticipation throws you’ll ever see. Good Maye might actually be more fun to watch than Good CW.

People love to talk about the lack of talent Caleb Williams has to work with but id like to know what future all-pros are on UNC?

Maye to Moore and Odunze is the new Burrow to Chase and Higgins.

No nail polish, no nipple piercing, no excuses.

I guess we should draft him in the 5th round!

Watch his last game. Dude just going through the motions.

Haven’t seen him play a whole lot. Impressed with what I saw. And he had to carry that team due to the lack of overall talent.

He’s a number one overall in a lot of drafts. Still may be this year too.

I’ve seen that. Comp is Herbert they say. But who knows? There are a lot of lazy takes that comp Caleb to Kyler just because they both played in the Lincoln Riley offense.

Honestly, I’d be happy with either Caleb or Maye, I just think Caleb is the better prospect.

Albert Greer today said he’s more like Burrow from what’s he’s heard. Both sound great to me.

People who don’t like Caleb Williams holding onto the ball too long and playing hero ball will look you straight in the eye and tell you they like Drake Maye, lol

It’s going to take a lot of time at the NFL level for Drake Maye to learn how to read progressions. He’s also going to need to fix his throwing motion.
