Drake Maye (Franchise QB or the next Franchise QB?)

I preferred building a roster because I dont believe this franchise can develop a QB.

So far it seems correct. Caleb is playing about as poorly as mitch and fields did as rookies, the only difference is the turnovers....But in place of the turnovers he has less explosive plays.

Bears are bottom in the league in explosive plays, calebs YPA was at 6.1 prior to last week. All just terrible.

so don't draft Willians because the bears can't develop QB's. but ride with the QB you drafted and failed to develop, got it

Nope, I was ripping on all the QB's because bears fans think you get a new shiny toy and he will instantly be good.

Pretty sure if you look at my post history you will see I dont really critique any of them outside of mentioning they are all busts waiting to be happened. Drafting a "generational" qb doesnt mean shit when you are the bears.

Drake Maye was always talented but I always wanted to keep fields because the bears cant develop QB's. Build a roster and have a brock purdy mediocre qb type player was the best case scenario

I actually dislike those QB designed runs. Athletic QBs are way more dangerous when they improvise on pass plays and take off running.

I like them in moderation but prob unnecessary for a QB with Maye’s skillset.

He would be dead behind this coaching staff and Oline. Oline isn’t adequate at all. No running game. Stevenson is a good RB. NE Coaching staff doesn’t give up on run

NEs OL is the worst in the league and he’s throwing to WRs most posters on here couldn’t even name. Idk where they currently stand but going into last week their average 3rd down to go was 10.1 yards.
