Graham/Campbell/Membou/Pearce Jr fall to ten it's a done deal.
Those are your blue chip football players who know the game, produced and give you elite traits at their position.

I think Jeanty/Warren are good alternatives.

It comes down to Ward/Shadeur/Jeanty/Warren pushing the blue chip lineman to us.

To trade into round 1 again I need Grant or Hampton.

This guy jumped 26 inches at 465 lbs.

If we don't get Grant I would be into it and he will play well at soldier field in December.

I'd like to see them able to trade back in round 1 if possible.

Then get Walter Nolen, JT Tuimoloau, Judkins and Oronde Gadsden II. All four players are vastly under rated. All four players are going to be difference makers for the better and all four players are excellent fits for this roster.

I can grasp why Nolen gets overlooked when the average beatnik wants to see players run and jump in gym shorts at the combine.

The one that really baffles me is how JT Tuimoloau doesn't get more love. I think JT Tuimoloau was the best defensive lineman on that Ohio State defense in 2024.

I keep hearing that Dennis Allen requires a specific mold of Defensive End and JT Tuimoloau all but fits mold to a tee. He played out of his shoes is every game of the CFP and the Natty.

Pearce will 100% be there at 10. Probably 2nd round too.

You think?
I might replace Campbell with K. BANKS in my thinking.

Pearce is also a poor fit to Allen, but I think he upgrades the defense in nickel or dime situations.

Yea, at best I’d have to give it a “highly unlikely to be there”. The guy is a sure first round grade who has some mystery love for the game questions following him.
He'll fall to the Eagles like some stud player always does, they'll run to the podium, select him and he'll be a perennial pro bowler there but he's "too small" to play here lol

The dream would be a trade down. . There are too many scenarios depending on how far they trade down to get into specifics. And I don’t really have a concrete opinion on how far it should be. I’d like a second at worst though. Then I’m going heavy on DL/OL with a safety and RB thrown in there somewhere in the 2nd-4th.

100%

the eagles or chiefs will take him by the end of the 1st and laugh at the other teams for passing on him

The bears do not have a great pass rusher. Sweat is a good edge but he's not one to really get after the QB regularly on passing downs.

Dayo is a large body that should be an upgrade compared to last year but he's almost like a DeMarcus walker but younger with a little more upside. It would be foolish to expect him to be a great pass rusher.

Bears could definitely use a great / elite pass rusher off the edge.

Graham or Membou falling to 10 would be dream if we are determined to pick at 10. But a team in the 16-21 range getting too antsy and spending too much to trade up to 10 is my semi-realistic jackpot scenario. Trade back, get an extra 2nd round pick and change depending, and pick the same guy at 16-21 you were probably thinking of taking at 10 before the trade.

My draft night dream scenario is a bears fan saves two children who were playing in the street from oncoming traffic and suffers minor injuries. Those kids that the bears fans saved were the children of the team owners for the titans and browns. When asked how could they ever repay the bears fan, he tells them to trade their first round pick to the bears for nothing. They oblige. And then the bears end up with Abdul Carter, Mason Graham, and Ashton Jeanty.

Does anybody know if the browns and titans owners are close?

I want more top flight offensive lineman taken early, but I cannot begrudge the beefing up of both lines in the end. Use steel to sharpen steel.

Beef block indeed.

Our DLine would be incredible next year. Think of what the competition for playing time would do for the rookies.
