If I got paid 56 million for 4 years to do nothing I'd take it.

He actually does worse than "do nothing," the team would be way better off if they merely deleted him from the roster and played with a 24 man instead.

I hope the Sox have some sort of clause in his contract that if he did retire the contract would be null and void cause at this point i would welcome a Dunn-less team

Yeah he's not just a little bad. He hurts the team in a bad way.

I honestly could care less that you were forced to quit the game you love.

Dunn gave an honest opinion. Really, I don't know what he could say without people jumping on him, but I give him credit for telling the truth.

Lol nice attitude to have towards someone you don't even know.

And you know Adam Dunn?

I would assume that most of the population could care less that you were forced to quit the game you love. I didn't know I was being facetious. Its just that you being forced to quit the game you love due to positive drug testing, failing out of school, etc. has no bearing on Adam Dunn's situation, and no bearing on the perception of Dunn's comments to anyone but yourself.

Positive drug testing and failing out of school huh? Yep, that's exactly why I had to quit.

:lmao:

Do all the fans on this board know Adam Dunn? Does the media know Adam Dunn? He's a professional athlete(or so he thinks). They're subject to scrutiny based on how they play.

In the article he said the OPPOSITE. He said that if he wasn't having fun anymore, he would think about quitting. But, right now he's still having fun.

If Dunn changes his jersey number he'll be fine.

Brian Anderson jinxed the #32 the **** up....he got his suck all over it and it's carrying over to Dunn.

Dunn will be fine next year...just needs an offseason to figure out wtf went wrong.

May not be looking good in my hr prediction for Dunn this year, but feel pretty good about this one.
