This would be a stupid trade for both sides. The Knicks would lose an allstar PF & top 5 interior defender & simply just replace both with Howard, which is good but doesn't get them closer to a championship. And Orlando would have around $150mill in 2 players with long injury histories.

Exactly why I think this trade will not happen!

If the Knicks perimeter defense is as, if Dwight where to get traded there, then they might be slightly better offensively but no better on defense.

I don't even think they'd be better offensively, other than the fact that Melo & him probably wouldn't compete for the ball. Amare is a much better scorer than Dwight.

And Jared Jeffries would be the starting PF. :lmao:
