Somebody needs to find Neil Funk. He's probably been in a fetal position on his bathroom floor, crying like a baby, since we traded Kirk. If we can sign Wade, hopefully he can find the strength to go on.

If there was enough background info, accurate info...this would make an excellent documentary. I think free agency in basketball will never be the same.

That said, I remain pessimistic. I don't believe Wade and half believe Bosh when it comese to true sincerity. We will just have to wait and see.

I just read a tweet from Ocho Cinco that said "the homey" told him where he is going, and it may be revealed tomorrow.

Then he put "#6" behind it...I feel like a P.I. searching for clues...this is very exhaustive...

Totally agree...no need to make a mountain out of a Kirk Hinrich...nobody is noticing that he is gone...because he is not important...

Why not? Adrian is he that connected? He seems to go with the flow like everyone else. No one really knows.

I would say that Adrian is as well connected as anybody on the national level.

As far as beat writers go, they are usually more informed on their teams and have sources more accurate. But as a national columnist covering the NBA, I would as soon trust him as anybody.

The problem with that Smith blog post is that it's all angling to make New York big winners, just like his crap he was making up before free agency. Given nobody else seems to think New York is in such a great position, I'm inclined to believe he's still got no clue what's really going on and is just speculating.

All these crazy rumors, hopefully after LeBron has met with everyone it'll all be sorted very quickly. I just want to know, the waiting sucks. It's hard to be anything but optimistic at this point which is scary because if it doesn't work out it's going to be a real gut punch now.

I was thinking about that too.

Do you think it won't be the same because we'll never see this level of talent all FAs at once ever sgain? Or do you think that because the league will address this in the next CBA and possibly give the hometown team even more of an advantage to keep their own players?

I was thinking that the league would do that. I'm not sure how because the players will take a hit overall.

But on the other hand the league is getting tons of publicity and no games are being played.
