EA Tiger Woods 12 (Masters) Thread

It's a good game. The new presentation that has come along with the Masters is nice.

I did an interview with the game designer last week if anyone wants to check it out

The only thing I don't like so far is that in career mode - which is called Road To The Masters now - has DLC courses mixed into the season schedule. So if you don't buy that course, you have to skip it. And I believe there's 6 of those on the tour sked. They're 320 points each. I don't like that. But so far I like the game play. The wind is inconsistent, but that always seems to be the case in Tiger Woods.

I've been busy man. Haven't had time to post. But I'm getting back in the swing of things. So many games to play so little time.

I rented it today and played some. It's pretty fun. Won the ametuer league now in the nationwide. Won the first tourney.

It's not a bad game at all.

I just won back-to-back tourneys but didn't crack the EA sports top 100, so I don't qualify for the Masters unless I complete the 9 Masters moments. Which I have to do now because I don't want to miss the Masters and wait until 2012.

I was ranked 236 prior to my first win. Then I moved up to 158. I figured if I won a 2nd straight tourney I would crack the top 100, but no, I'm 108.

I've completed 5 of the 9 moments, but I still have to do the long ones like Tiger's record round from 1997 etc..

This is where having those damn DLC course in the tour schedule screwed me. I had to skip that one. If I was able to play it, I would have easily been in the top 100. I want that green jacket.

I wasn't really impressed with '11 which was sad because I love the Ryder Cup and I'm really tempted by this game because the Masters is my favorite tourney.

Are the new modes worth the buy? Ive read that it blows away '11 and from the videos I've seen it looks like that is true.

it really is a solid game...its been taking up alot of gaming hours from me away from NHL, so that should say something

worth the buy 10 fold

im up to 7 took awhile.

that is what makes it fun. if it takes a while, it makes it that much more enjoyable.
