Eagles Bears flexed to SNF

The @NFL has flexed the @ChicagoBears game vs. the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday, December 22 (Week 16) to the Sunday Night slot.

A suprise to me, thought they were going to stay with Patriots-Ravens

I guess they figure this game will have bigger playoff implications than pats/ravens.

So just took a quick look at this and boy the Det and Minny games will really come back to bite us in the ass.

Division
We are tied with the Lions but they have the tie breaker and their final opponents are the Ravens, Giants, and Minnesota. We have the Browns, Eagles and Packers. So they definitely are in the drivers seat here as the Eagles and Packer (unless they sit Rodgers) are tough match-ups and we have to win one more game than the Lions down the stretch.

Wild Card
Panthers - They have the Jets, Saints, and Falcons, and the only way we could catch them is if they lose all their games and we win out. So highly unlikely.

Niners - They have the Bucs, Falcons, and Cards and the only way we could catch them is if they lose all their games and we win out. So highly unlikely.

Cards - They have the Titans, Hawks, and Niners and the only way we could catch them is if we win 2 more games than they do.

They should've flexed week 17 vs the Pack instead. That game is going to decide the division IMO. Bears vs Pack, for the NFC North, loser goes home, in the final game of the regular season.

Even if we happen to have a 1 game lead, it stilll comes down to that game because we lose every possible tiebreaker scenario dont we?
