Bennett is probably at his highest trade value of the last 2.5 seasons, but still that's not much.

That being said, there are a lot of shit 2 & 3 receivers out there and while bennett isnt the fastest or biggest, he runs good routes and catches everything.

He also took a pay cut so he wont cost a lot if anyone gets his contract which is attractive.

All that being said, teams almost never trade player for player. If Bennett is going to be traded, it's going to be for a a draft pick, not a DT.

Of course it is unlikely the Bears will trade Ear but it is certain Emery will not trade him for a draft pick only a DT or maybe a corner. Just spit balling here not expecting anything to happen. I trust Emery and Trestman to handle the situation as they have done quite a good job so far as the Bears primary brain trust.

I honestly can't remember the last time a player was traded for another player straight up.

More specific to the Bears, Tyler Clutts for Sherrick McManis.

Clutts' hands were almost as bad as Roy Williams' but at least the fucker could block.

After trying to trade him a few weeks ago, I hope the current regime just had an "ohhhhhhhhh" moment this week with Earl Bennett.

Our team has looked dynamite when Cutler/E.Bennett/Jeffrey/Marshal are all healthy. Throw Bush/Black Unicorn/Forte/Anderson into that mix and we are really making things easy for an offensive guru like Trestman to step in.

His work is done here. hahahahahaaha. Fix the o-line, call smart plays that protect your QB and play to your strengths......let the defense do their thing.
