This 100% will happen, which is why I'm guessing he was happy to take the job vs. sitting out a year and getting paid by the bears while playing shitty beekeeper in his illinois mansion.

Unless things have changed in the NFL, he's not getting paid anymore to be the cowboys DC since they are just offsetting the money the bears owe him. I'm sure george is fucking ecstatic right now.

I thought that was weird....I get that he makes a lot of money as an NFL HC but the mansion was over the top. Not sure what the motivation was behind the purchase, like perhaps he was telling himself "yeah, I'm here to stay". Or perhaps his wife likes bees.

But yea, it was certainly an extravagant buy for a first time HC who likely was not even in the top 20 of HC salaries.

Then again, jokes on us, because real estate prices have rocketed since 2021
