How? Caldwell has never developed a young quarterback. I guess if you want Fields to throw the ball 600 times and to have no running game, Caldwell is your guy.

The guy is 67. He hasn't coached in any capacity since 2017 outside of 6 months during the off-season of 2019, at which point he stepped down due to health concerns.

The idea that the guy to lead the Bears turn around has been unemployed for 4 years is ridiculous.

The dude had a large part in Peyton Manning's development and even took the Lions to the playoffs. He's an offensive minded coach who more than likely has the right connections to put together a solid staff.

This is underwhelming but the whole coaching list is so nobody can really be surprised

I like that his trade was as a WR coach as well. Seems like we haven't had a decent one in a min.. or am I buggin?

I'd rather hire Peyton Manning.

Caldwell would be "okay", but I think it's limiting the trajectory of the team to hire a guy you have to replace in a couple years no matter what. And he'll probably bring in Jim Bob Cooter as OC.

I live here in ATL and watched Quinn allow Shanahan’s ego to blow the massive lead his team had in Super Bowl, then soon after fall off the cliff and lose the team.
He is NOT highly regarded here, got fired for his Lovie-esque offensive incompetence and, contrary to popular belief outside of ATL, his defenses wet not very good. Oh, and the draft picks under his watch were bad, except only Julio Jones.

Super hard pass on Dan Quinn… no… No… NO!

Nothing against these average HC Candidates, but I mean Harbaugh is potentially out there. They should be going heavy right now. Maybe they have discreetly, but he’s the most proven by far.

yeah, i'm still holding out hope that there's just some surprise announcement that harbaugh is named HC and he'll bring in his GM of choice soon after. this "finalist" list is super underwhelming.
