Eddie has apparently been in the witness protection program since training camp. Don't know where he is, but he's not been visible on the field all season. I suspect he's recently managed to get Roquan to join him. Maybe the players-only meeting is just cover for a recruiting pitch. Safety in numbers; that sort of thing...

Nagy is actually publicly asking his player leaders to stand up, in his presser yesterday, and the one today. I think it's a bad move by him, as a coach should publicly take the blame, and not throw out random shit like, "It will be interesting to see who responds, and steps up to lead." But yet he prefers it to be more random, and spontaneous.
2 of his worst pressers, and the most revealing imo.

This team reminds of the 2017/2018 Jaguars. They made a surprising run in 2017 based on a easy schedule, bad QB, and dominant defense. Then in 2018 the schedule got tougher and the team started falling apart. They start 3-1 but ended the season with a 5-11 record.

Blaming everything under the sun, except the truth....OL dropped off the face of the earth and depth isn't good enough.
Play calling & coaching means squat with absolutely ZERO run game / blocking. Everything else snowballs from there...Trubs seeing ghosts, predictability, getting behind. Nagy admitted that, but sure AF can't admit his OL is failing everybody. He all but said it already.
So Nagy wants players to man up. Makes sense. Jackson didn't hide it. WTH else you guys want? Besides firing err-body & trading for Watson or Mahommie. Same ol' CCS. SMH.

The o line sucks but it doesn't make Trubisky any less mediocre. If Trubisky was a two year starter in college he'd probably be a 4th round pick.
