And WTF are you guys voting for? KY has a gubernatorial, none of the rest of you have anything, other than maybe some referendums?? IL really doesn't have a lot going on this year.

Ken Moellman is running for your state treasurer. But that is the end of what I know in Kentucky's election. Good luck, you're state's books are some of the most cooked in the nation. Almost as bad as California.

Yeah, I'm hoping to get out of KY fairly soon. The governor is a crook. Lol

lol@joe getting completely ***** slapped on this thread

my idea is that i should vote for the best candidate regardless of party...but i dont feel an obligation necessarily to do it....especially if i dont feel too strongly about any of the candidates(or simply just dont know much about the situation)

and yes, voting is basic representation of government by the people...basically that is your voice...and if you dont vote..that means you really have no voice...

it makes sense to complain, and then take "action" by voting

but not voting and complaining doesnt...what are you really accomplishing?

electoral college was a good idea back in the day because it was difficult to get the entire nations votes counted for so representation was logical. But i agree that i do not see the point in still using it with technology today.

Voting is absolutely fucking pointless. Elections are like WWF, or RAW or whatever the **** it is, staged fights with predetermined winners. Don't waste your time people.

So because I don't vote, I can't complain. Great logic.

Im sorry Joe but it is great logic....if you complain about what's going on but you didn't vote, then maybe your vote could've changed the thong your upset about. Now I know one vote doesn't do that much but there are many others who don't vote and will complain about the same thing but it all couldve been avoided if you guys had just voted so I think you should vote, I would if I could

The law is you must be 18 to vote right?

There are so many problems with this phrase, I don't know where to start. But hey, if you don't give a shit, then by all means.
